Since 2012, the HLT&DLT team has remained committed to the African market, initially introducing standalone machinery to multiple countries across the continent. In recent years, the company has taken a major leap forward by delivering complete plant solutions to Africa, achieving outstanding results. Its reputation has grown significantly in countries such as Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, and Algeria.
Most recently, complete production line projects in Kenya and Côte d'Ivoire have been successfully ignited and put into operation to strong acclaim. These milestones reflect the growing trust and recognition HLT&DLT has earned from global customers and partners, laying a solid foundation for further market expansion.
Kenya's First Full Polished Glaze Complete Production Line Officially Ignited
On June 19, lion dances and cheers filled the air. Amidst eager anticipation and well-wishes, HLT&DLT officially commissioned and put into operation Kenya's first full polished glaze complete production line—a historic milestone for Kenya's ceramic industry.
The project features 3 sets of 60T intermittent ball milling systems, YP4009 and YP2009 automatic hydraulic presses, EM-series five-layer self-circulating dryers, a "4.0 Energy Efficiency Benchmark Digital Intelligence Era" firing kiln, DHD-E2-A double-layer dryers, drying systems before kiln, glaze lines, and other advanced machines. It also integrates patented technologies such as DHR and PPC, exclusive to HLT &DLT. The line is designed for clean production, energy efficiency, and stable operation. It enhances production efficiency & product quality.
With a daily capacity of 11,000 ㎡, the line focuses on producing full polished glaze & rustic tiles. It not only meets the Kenyan market's demand for high-quality ceramic products but also fills a long-standing gap in Kenya's ceramic industry.
Côte d'Ivoire's New Double-Firing Complete Production Line Officially Ignited
On June 25, HLT&DLT successfully ignited a new double-firing production line project in Côte d'Ivoire, supporting the local manufacture of double-firing ceramic tiles, wear-resistant tiles, and colored glaze tiles.
The project site spans approximately 49 hectares, with the capacity to host multiple ceramic production lines. Phase I of the project involves the construction of a modern production line with a designed daily capacity of approximately 40,000 m². It is capable of manufacturing a variety of products including double-firing ceramic tiles, wear-resistant tiles, and colored glaze tiles.
This project integrates advanced technologies and cutting-edge concepts throughout its processes. It employs patented technologies including the DDI4.0-A digital intelligent control system for kilns and the KPR combustion air heating energy-saving system, enabling intelligent and flexible production modes.
Furthermore, it incorporates the advantages of the green solution—low cost, high output, and strong customization capabilities. The project will generate sustained direct and indirect employment opportunities locally. Designed as a high-quality initiative to achieve both economic and social benefits, it will vigorously boost industrial chain development and urbanization in Abidjan and surrounding regions.
